Troy Bitters, PA-C, brings more than 18 years of experience in family medicine, pediatrics, and orthopedics. He studied Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Utah before completing Physician Assistant training at Alderson Broaddus College and The Ohio State University. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Medical Science and Sports Medicine.
Troy focuses on preventive, whole-person care and building lasting relationships with his patients. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, sports, the outdoors, and traveling.

The EMI Health Care Clinic is a primary care clinic exclusively for Alpine School District employees and their covered dependents enrolled in an EMI Health medical plan. It provides convenient care for everyday and ongoing health needs, with lower visit fees than a typical office visit and dedicated time with your provider.
The Care Clinic provides primary care for many of the same health needs you would normally take to a doctor's office, including:
When available, your provider can give you your prescription medication during your visit, saving you a separate trip to the pharmacy. Some prescriptions may still need to be sent to a pharmacy.
Some basic labs can be completed in the clinic. Most other lab work is sent out, with results typically available within a few days.
The Care Clinic offers lower out-of-pocket costs than a typical office visit.

No. The EMI Health Care Clinic is a primary care clinic, not an urgent care or emergency facility. The clinic does not have X-ray services onsite, and most lab work is sent out for testing.

Alliance clinics are separate from the EMI Health Care Clinic and have their own providers and hours. Your cost is based on your EMI Health plan. The EMI Health Care Clinic is still your first stop, so start there whenever possible.

No. The Vivint Clinic and EMI Health Care Clinic are separate clinics, even though they are located in the same building and share the same front desk area.
The Vivint Clinic is part of the CareATC Alliance network and has its own provider and visit fee. Make sure you know which clinic your appointment is scheduled with so you understand what you’ll pay.
Start with the EMI Health Care Clinic for your primary care needs. Care Clinic visits are already available at low or no cost based on your plan, so Garner reimbursements do not apply.
If your Care Clinic provider determines that you need specialty care, they can refer you to a Garner approved specialist.
What about Alliance clinics? Garner status varies by provider and location. If you want to use your Garner benefits, check Garner before scheduling with an Alliance clinic to see if the provider is approved and eligible for reimbursement.
